With the passage of the Disaster Relief Act of 2019 by Congress, NAU Country led the charge to help facilitate the processing and distribution of disaster payments as a result of prevented planting losses.
Prevented planting payments that were paid as of 10/11/2019, and meeting the criteria of the Disaster Relief Act of 2019, were available in the first batch of disaster checks that printed on 10/16/2019. Any succeeding payments will be printed on a daily basis as prevented planting claims are finalized.
When the payments have been printed, they will be mailed directly to the insured. A report is available in EASYwriter Pro®, that will list insureds for your agency and the amount provided under the Disaster Relief Act of 2019, if a payment was generated. This report is located in the Report Center. It is located under the Claims>MPCI>USDA Disaster Payments.
