Important Sales Closing Reminders
The March 15* Sales Closing Date (SCD) is a milestone in crop insurance that affects many regions across the United States. It is one of the largest Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) application deadlines for coverages and endorsements. It is also the final date to lock in NAU Country Private Products such as the Base Price Modifier (BPM) and the Price Modifier PLUS (PM+) programs. For more information, access the links below.**
*Due to March 15, 2026, falling on a Sunday this year, the SCD signature deadline is extended to the next business day, March 16.

Crop Insurance Calendar
Sales Closing Dates (SCD) are established for each insurable crop and are published by the Risk Management Agency (RMA) in the actuarial documents. A person must apply for MPCI crop insurance on or before the applicable SCD. NAU Country wants to make the Sales Closing process as simple as possible. MPCI Endorsements and Options
MPCI Endorsements and Options supplement the underlying policy and follow their Sales Closing guidelines. These products consist of the Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO), the Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO), Hurricane Insurance Program - Wind Index (HIP-WI), Stacked Income Protection (STAX), and the Post Application Coverage Endorsement (PACE).
Private Products
