Help your farmers stay informed by encouraging them to sign up for Insured Hail Notifications - a service that sends alerts when hail or high winds may have impacted their fields.
With EASYview Weather and Hail Probability Alerts working together, you can deliver top-tier service and faster claims support this hail season!
How to Utilize EASYview Weather and Hail Probability Alerts
When agents sign up for Hail Probability Alerts, you’ll receive an email if hail measuring 0.50” or larger has potentially struck one of your farmers’ fields.
With this alert in hand, simply enter the farmer’s information into EASYview Weather to view detailed field-specific maps showing the following event information:
- Fields potentially affected and their proximity to the storm
- Estimated hail size displayed in contours (starting at 0.25")
- Wind speed and gusts
- Temperature, humidity, rainfall, and more
Once reviewed, print or save these maps to share with your farmers - via email, a quick call, or in-person - allowing them to respond quickly and knowledgeably. It’s customer service made easy.
Empower Your Farmers with Insured Hail Notifications
Farmers with an NAU Country Farmer Portal account can access EASYview Weather and opt-in for their own alerts through the Farmer Portal or the NAU Country mobile app. Insured Hail Notifications are sent if hail of 0.50” or greater is detected within a 1-mile radius of their fields. Each alert includes their policy number, county, and crops potentially affected, and a direct link to the hail event in EASYview Weather.
This gives your farmers a head start on checking fields and submitting timely claims.
