Harvest season is already underway in many locations and NAU Country's flagship farmer tool Field Insights™ has the technology to help along the way.

Field Insights’ map features and data options have grown to become a useful tool in the field for many farmers. Let's take a look at the updated Field Conditions and Crop Growth & Harvest tools that will directly aid your farmers this fall!

New! Updated Map Components

Our Map Components feature provides helpful data for your farmers' fields but does not rely solely on the map to relay that information. You and your farmers can access the map components data by clicking on a Field Card or by clicking on a field shown within the map. Once a field is selected, click on the “Select a Component” tab and choose an option from the drop-down menu. Let’s review the updated elements in more detail.

Note: Click on the “question mark” icon FieldInsights_QuestionMarkIcon-PopUpWindow to view a popup window with full definitions of each layer.

Crop Growth & Harvest - Now all in one place! The growth models combine user-provided information and professional weather data to provide past, current, and projected plant growth stage information. If your farmer has set up their properties for a specific field, the crop type, acreage area, plant date, and diversity type (if applicable) it will appear in a drop-down menu at the top of the chart. If there are multiple crops within one field that acreage has been reported within the Field Properties, you can select which acreage line you wish to view growth and harvest data

  • Harvest Advisor: In Field Dry Down tab
    • This component helps users determine whether they are able to obtain a crop moisture percentage that is favorable to storing crops infield. This component's accuracy is improved by consuming grain moisture tests
